Seasons in Madagascar
Madagascar experiences two distinct travel seasons:
• Low Season: December 15 to February 15
• Peak Season: February 16 to December 14
•Low Season Discounts: Travelers booking within the low season can benefit from reduced rates, as accommodation and transportation costs are typically lower.
•Peak Season Rates: Prices for accommodations, transportation, and guided tours tend to be higher due to increased demand.

Activities mentioned in the itinerary are for information only unless explicitly listed under “Inclusions.”
Only activities, excursions, and services clearly marked as included are covered by the package price.
All other activities remain optional and can be arranged separately at the client’s request, subject to availability and additional cost.
Beach & Island Destinations
For destinations such as Anakao, Nosy Be, Sainte Marie Island, and other beach/island tours, we always provide a list of possible activities (diving, snorkeling, whale watching, excursions, etc.) for your reference.
These activities are not included in the package price unless specified under the “Inclusions” section of your confirmed itinerary.
Final Itinerary & Payment
Before confirmation and payment, clients receive a final itinerary with clear inclusions and exclusions.
Once the trip is confirmed, any additional activities not included may be booked on-site or through our team upon request, with extra costs applied.
Is it safe to travel in Madagascar?
While Madagascar is safe to visit, there are many precautions you should note. It is not safe to walk after dark and travel at night.Always follow your driver or guide instruction.
Currency
Madagascar uses the Malagasy Ariary. The currency code is MGA. ATMs are readily found across the country, We suggest all visitors to bring Euro for the payment of remain amount of their trip with Faniry.
Can I use my credit cards?
The use of credit or debit cards is mostly restricted to larger hotels and restaurants.We suggest for you to carry enough cash to last a few days and withdraw funds as needed with VISA,MASTERCARD,UNIONPAY in ATM.
