Day 1

Arrival in Antananarivo

VIP welcome at Ivato airport and private transfer to your hotel. Short briefing about your journey.

Day 2

Antananarivo → Andasibe

Scenic drive east to the rainforest region (about 3–4 hours). Optional night walk in search of nocturnal lemurs and chameleons.

Day 3

Andasibe rainforest

Guided visit of Analamazaotra Reserve to look for the Indri indri, Madagascar’s largest lemur, and other wildlife.

Day 4

Andasibe → Antsirabe

Return toward the central highlands to Antsirabe, a spa town known for its colourful pousse-pousse and traditional crafts.

Day 5

Antsirabe → Ambositra → Fianarantsoa

Follow the RN7 south via Ambositra, famous for woodcarving, to the historic highland city of Fianarantsoa.

Day 6

Fianarantsoa → Ambalavao → Isalo

Continue south through Ambalavao, with a visit to Anja Community Reserve if time allows, to the Isalo region and its sandstone sunsets.

Day 7

Isalo National Park

A full day exploring canyons, natural pools and viewpoints with a local park guide.

Day 8

Isalo → Ifaty

The scenery turns dry and tropical as you travel to Toliara and on to the beach at Ifaty.

Day 9

Ifaty beach

Relax on the coast. Optional snorkelling or boat trip.

Day 10

Ifaty & spiny forest

Free day, or an optional excursion into the unique spiny forest around Ifaty.

Day 11

Ifaty → Antananarivo

A last morning by the sea, then onward travel to Antananarivo. Any domestic flight is confirmed in your personalised quote.

Departure

Private transfer to Ivato airport.
