Faniry Madagascar Tour — Booking & Payment Policy
1. Introduction
By making a booking with Faniry Madagascar Tour (hereafter “the Company”), you and all members of your party accept and are bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms supersede any other prior arrangements, unless otherwise agreed in writing between the Client and the Company.
2. Scope
All offers, quotations and bookings (private tours, group tours, car rental with or without driver, etc.) are subject to this Booking Policy. The itinerary, inclusions and exclusions provided in the final program are binding once confirmed.
3. Payment Terms
Payment Methods
We accept payments only via Bank/Wire Transfer or Credit Card, processed through our Western Union gateway.
No other forms of payment (cash transfer, cheque, etc.) are accepted.
Deposit Requirement
A deposit equal to 50% of the total tour cost is required to confirm a booking.

For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is due within 3 days of confirmation.

Full Payment Upfront
For tours with a total cost under €1,000, or when booking is made less than 7 days before departure, full payment is required at booking time.

Special Destinations — Island or Remote Areas
For tours to certain destinations (e.g. islands, remote national parks), full payment prior to departure may be required due to logistical constraints.

4. Booking Confirmation & Final Payment
Once we receive your deposit (or full payment, if required), we will send you a final invoice and a payment receipt, along with a final itinerary detailing included and excluded services.

For tours paid in full at booking, your trip is protected from any price increases related to fuel, exchange rate fluctuations, airline/ferry tariffs, or other external cost changes.

5. Cancellations & Modifications
Cancellation by Client
All cancellations must be submitted in writing by the designated group leader via email.

If cancellation occurs, cancellation fees will be applied: 30% of the remaining balance (excluding the deposit) will be charged.

For group bookings: if any member cancels and causes the group size to drop below required minimum, 100% of the cost may be charged for that member to maintain the overall group tour.

Modifications by Client
Changes to the reservation (e.g. altering dates, changing participant numbers) must be requested in writing by the group leader. Changes are only valid when formally acknowledged by Faniry in writing.

Minor changes in participant numbers made up to six (6) weeks before departure are free of charge. Later changes will incur a fee of US$ 75 per person.

Transfers of booking to another person are possible, provided the new person meets all conditions for the tour.

6. Cancellation or Alteration by Faniry Madagascar Tour
The Company reserves the right to cancel or modify a tour (or part of it) due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: adverse weather, natural disasters, strikes, safety risks, supplier unavailability, or other force-majeure events.

In such cases, the trip can either be rescheduled (with mutually agreed new dates) or refunded. The Company assumes no further liability beyond the refund or rescheduling option.

If the requested accommodation in your itinerary becomes unavailable, we will offer a comparable alternative, and inform you promptly.

7. What Is Included / Excluded
Services explicitly listed in the final itinerary (hotel nights, internal transport, guided tours, etc.) are included.

International flights, visa fees, travel insurance, meals not specified in the itinerary, optional excursions, personal expenses (tips, souvenirs, etc.) are not included.

For beach or island destinations (e.g. diving, snorkeling, whale-watching), optional activities must be requested separately and will incur additional charges if confirmed.

8. Client Responsibilities
Clients must ensure they hold valid travel documents (passport, visa if required), health certificates, and meet any other entry requirements for Madagascar.

Any special requests (special meals, dietary requirements, extra services) must be specified on the booking form. The Company will attempt to honor such requests but cannot guarantee them unless explicitly stated in writing.

9. Currency & On-Ground Payments
The local currency in Madagascar is the Malagasy Ariary (MGA).

While major credit/debit cards (VISA, Mastercard, UnionPay) may be accepted at larger hotels or restaurants, cash remains the most reliable payment method outside urban centers. We recommend bringing some euros or having access to ATMs for on-the-ground expenses.

10. Insurance Recommendation
We strongly recommend that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering: trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, lost baggage, and liability. The Company is not responsible for events outside our direct control (e.g. weather, flight delays, political unrest, personal illness).
