Masoala is Madagascar’s largest protected area — combining dense rainforest, mangroves, coastal forest, and marine parks. 

Opportunities to see rare species: red‑ruffed lemurs, chameleons, leaf‑tailed geckos, unique birds, and — with luck — the elusive nocturnal Aye-aye.  

Marine biodiversity: coral reefs, sea turtles, tropical fish; kayaking or snorkeling in crystal waters of protected marine zones.
